The Theatricool Team
(AISTD, FDA Musical Theatre, BA(Hons) Musical Theatre) Sally has loved the theatre and appearing on stage from a very early age treading the boards, whilst singing and dancing are her favourite activities. She has appeared in many musicals over the years as well as directing and choreographing shows for many local societies.
Sally trained as a dancer at the prestigious Ivy Baker School of Dancing and at Dance Foundation in Clacton. She has gained qualifications in all aspects of dance specialising in Modern Theatre Dance where she gained her Associate teaching examination.
At the tender age of 42 she decided that her love of theatre should be passed on to others so she embarked on a three year degree course gaining a BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre.
Sally is so enthusiastic about the theatre and believes that there is talent in everyone, so no matter what your ability Theatricool can bring out the performer in you!

Leah Barnham - Dance Leader - BA(Hons) PGCE
Leah has been dancing since the young age of two and started studying Musical Theatre at the age of eleven. When she was twelve she appeared in her first dance show in London’s West End at Saddlers Wells as part of the Mardi Gras ensemble dance competition, which led her to perform at Disneyland Paris’s very own Fantasia Theatre. After this Leah continued her dance training at Tiffany Stage Academy which led to further dance and musical theatre shows in Colchester, Clacton and London.
Whilst studying dance, drama and music at school, along with eight other academic subjects, she was cast in four consecutive years of pantomime at Colchester’s Mercury theatre and after this decided to continue her training and proceed with a National Diploma in Performing Arts, which resulted in two distinctions and one merit. After gaining this qualification Leah enrolled onto the BA (Hons) Performing Arts course at Colchester Institute to gain the qualifications needed to teach at FE level.
Dance has been one of Leah’s passions for many years and she is inspired by all styles from Jazz to Contemporary. Leah is honoured to be part of the Theatricool team and can’t wait to discover the new talent about to leap through the doors!
