Theatricool Performing Arts Colchester
Theatricool is now in it's 15th fantastic year providing accessible, affordable and professional Musical Theatre training in all aspects of Performing Arts for students from 3-20 years in Colchester and surrounding areas. All three disciplines of drama, acting and singing are provided with specialist and qualified tutors in each area. As well as Saturday Musical Theatre Schools in Colchester and our specialist acting school, Theatricool also runs Summer Drama Schools in Colchester where students enjoy the experience with many coming back year after year.
Theatricool has it's own studios near central Colchester which are fully equipped with sound systems, dance floor, full height mirrors, ballet barres etc.. The Studios are hired out to several regular clients throughout the week but there is still availability for Birthday parties, rehearsal space, acoustic gigs, tea parties and many other events.

Theatricool has now been providing professional Performing Arts training for students in Colchester and surrounding areas for over 15 years. Throughout this time we have become one of the largest independent local Performing Arts School in the area with over 150 students, many of whom joined us in the early days and are still part of the Theatricool family. We are proud of the reputation we have built for nurturing and developing students with talent and providing a platform for every student to build confidence and enjoy their time at Theatricool.
Many of our students who joined us as young children have gone onto pursue a career in Musical Theatre and several are now tutors at Theatricool Saturday schools. We are extremely proud that several current and former students have been involved in major productions both in local theatre and in London's West End.

□ Theatricool is a privately owned Performing Arts Academy, not a national franchise. It was established to provide professional but affordable training in Performing Arts for children and teenagers from Colchester and surrounding areas.
□ Theatricool has a high ratio of tutors to students, we can identify and nurture natural talent, build confidence and interact with students and parents/guardians. This allows us to tailor training according to each students abilities and desire to progress.
□ All lead tutors have vast experience in Musical Theatre as professional performers, directors and choreographers. They are trained in all aspects of Performing Arts giving our students a wide base of skills.
□ All Lead tutors qualified to BA(Hons) degree level and/or industry professionals.
□ Theatricool classes are based at our wonderful new 3 studio space in Chandlers Row .Students enjoy professional facilities such as specialist dance floors, training mirrors and professional sound systems.
□ All lead tutors are fully insured and DBS (Formerly CRB) checked, most of our lead tutors are also licenced chaperones with Essex County Council. We also have a child protection policy in place for your peace of mind.
□ Training at Theatricool culminates with two performances per year on a professional stage where students can showcase their talent to family and friends.

Theatricool has been a part of our lives for 6 years and for quite a few very good reasons. The coaching each child receives in dancing, singing and acting is fantastic, leaving each child feeling like they have the confidence to be centre stage and part of a big happy family....
