About Our Acting School In Colchester
Classes are held on Saturdays 1.15-3.15pm at our studio in Chandlers Row, CO1 2HG
Our Acting School is structured specifically for students who wish to concentrate exclusively on their acting skills.
They will also work towards a TRINITY acting or Musical Theatre qualification (addtional fee for exam payable)
Theatricool is registered as an official Trinity Exam Centre.
A high ratio of tutors to students allows us to develop the less experienced beginners whilst allowing the more seasoned performers to progress and develop thier acting skills.
Students will take part in one showcase performance each year on a professional stage showcasing acting skills to family and friends.
Acting Training Builds Confidence
Our Saturday Acting School, as with our Performing Arts Schools, is as about having fun as well as learning and nurturing new acting skills and meeting new friends. Learning acting at a young age is a wonderful skill which helps build self confidence and carries over to other aspects of life such as social and work environments.
It makes us so proud at Theatricool when we see students gain confidence week after week and ultimately performing on a professional stage in front of family and friends. Comments from parents and guardians often refer to just how amazed they are at the skill and confidence students have gained in a relatively short space of time.
No Audition Required
Students of all abilities are welcome at our Saturday Acting School, from the seasoned performer to the absolute beginner. We have a very high ratio of tutors to students which means we can nurture and help to build the confidence of those who are a bit more shy and retiring whilst allowing the more confident to flourish.
No audition is required for enrolment of our acting school as we believe everyone needs to start somewhere and deserves the opportunity to find out if acting is for them. Classes will be structured to take account of all ages and abilities with the goal of allowing each and every student to reach their potential and flourish into a confident performer.
SATURDAY ACTING SCHOOL TERMS & FEES
3 terms annually @ *approx £216 per 10 week term**Fees are due termly in advance but paid monthly.
NB: We may charge a show fee to cover costume and theatre hire as an additional cost per year.
**Two months notice require to terminate agreement
*Fees shown are based on 10 week term but will vary pro-rata if term is longer
